What's been going on

Let me tell you something here, I swear it is easier being a working mom than a stay at home mom. I am off work for awhile and my days just run together and we are constantly busy. This is my excuse for completely forgetting about the blog. My days mainly consist of everything for Westin. I am still nursing, planning to do that for awhile but it is hard to nurse each time and still be a good Mom to 2 older boys that need your attention. It is another thing I feel guilty about, but it is all working out. Here is Westin below at his big brother Luke's kindergarten graduation. (kindergarten?? Seriously how did he grow so fast?? )

This is my Luke on his last day of school. We are SO thankful school is finally out. I am so excited about having all 3 of my boys at home with me this summer! We have many fun things planned and it is going to be a fun time!

The boys and I (Daddy had to stay home and work) went to Georgia last week to visit family. Yes I was brave enough to travel by myself with them. It was not bad at all. Every 3 hours we stopped to eat, feed Westin, change his diaper and rest so the trip was much longer than usually, but it made for happy kiddos!

I have a whole post about our trip coming soon, we had a blast and here is a picture from our visit to the Georgia Aquarium. GREAT place to visit!!! The boys were amazed the whole time!!

I hope you all are enjoying this Memorial Day weekend!

I LOVE our country and the men and woman who sacrifice themselves for our freedom.
I LOVE my life!
I LOVE Jesus, His promises are always in perfect timing!

Dear Westin

 Dear sweet Westin,
Sweet child you have no idea how much you have blessed and completed our family in just the first month of your life. I never knew Mommy's heart would grow so much to love another child. The love Mommy and Daddy feel for you is epic and we are truly blessed to have 3 healthy, beautiful children. Thank you sweet child for being the beautiful, sweet and hilarious little boy that you are each day. You are such a joy to all of us!

Here you are at 1 month. You were not real happy with taking pictures, it was time for you to eat and that is all you have on your mind these days. Above you can see you were trying to chew your hands off, I think you thought Mommy forgot to feed you. You have put yourself on a 3 hour feeding schedule during the day and will go up to 6 hours during the night. Usually you sleep from 10/11pm til 4am, eat and go back down til we get up at 7 to take your big brothers to school.

Right now when you are mad, Mommy and Daddy can't help but laugh and kiss you all over your sweet cheeks. It saddens my heart to see you upset but it also is hilarious because you are so darn cute. At this point in our photo session you had had enough.

This is the best I could get, you little stinker. On your 1 month birthday we visited the doctor and you weighed 7lbs 11oz. You gained 2 whole pounds since birth and that was such a miracle and right on track for a newborn! Mommy and Daddy were so worried about you being so tiny but you are gaining weight at a rapid pace which makes us so proud.

Your big brothers have nothing but joy for you. You make them smile and so happy. All they want to do is hold you and love on you all the time. You have fit so perfectly into our family and we all love you so much!! Keep up the good work, keep growing and being the apple of our whole families eyes! You are our special child sweet boy!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy
