Currently we live in a "starter" home I guess you could say. It's just your normal 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. We already have 2 boys and are looking at expanding our family soon, so adding an animal into the mix actually scares me! I am extremely OCD about my house and I get sweaty talking about having cat or dog hair inside my house. But, I am a cat person, I grew up always having a cat. We had a cat named Sam for 16 years, he was the best cat, so laid back, didn't have a care in the world!! He died about 10 years ago and actually I was at Momma's house a few days ago, she was going through old boxes and found a little box that she kept of some of Sam's things. (this cat was literally part of our fam) She had a baggy of Sam's hair, I opened it and it was still so soft and you could still smell Sam on the hair. It brought tears to my eyes!
My hubby on the other hand wants a German Shephard. He wants a big dog and a dog that is good with kids and family and that will protect us if something bad was to ever go down...?!?! :) So, I told him I would be more than happy to get a German Shephard, once we have a bigger home and yard. BUT, when he gets his dog, I get my cat :) I did tell him to go get me a kitty since I have baby fever, that might hold me over for awhile, he didn't go for that though, so we shall see!
I hope y'all had a wonderful Wednesday! I sure did and I'm just so grateful for each and every one of you! I hope you have a blessed rest of the week!
Love y'all!

Aww it sounds like Momma needs a kitty PRONTO!!! haha, or a baby :)
We had a cat for a long time too...she was such a good little thing. I love this wishful Wedneaday stuff...I may have to start doing 2 post on Wednesdays! Hope your having a great day! = )
I had a cat up until last year before we moved and had Lincoln. She was a long haired cat and stayed inside. I loved her to death and used her as my fill in while I was desperately wanting a baby. She left cat hair on EVERYTHING! Even though she was a sweet cat and I loved her, I think she was a big mistake on my part. My husband couldn't stand her. If I had to do it over again I don't think I would have gotten her. Or maybe would have chose a short haired cat.
On the flip side, we bought a tea cup Chihuahua in 2006. She doesn't shed and she is way more loving than our cat was. Our dog Lucy is a lap dog and wants attention.. our cat never did want to be petted or played with very often.
Hope you get what you want... I'd still go for the baby though... LOL!
We have a German Shepherd. She is wonderful, but I like cats, too. ; )
Thank you for your faithfulness and your prayers!
